📚 Fish themed library storytime ✂️

🔵 Two new release Australian picture books and one classic - all featuring water creatures who frown 🐟☹️
🔵 Rhyme and a refrain made these three fun readalouds, perfect for ages 2-5
🔵 We talked about what made each character turn their frowns upside down (hint: 😘, 🏠, 👯‍♀️)
🔵 kids were fascinated by axolotyl and blobfish facts.

Skills ✂️ (of big shape, I cut the small bits), glueing and assembling. Kids chose whether their blobfish had a ☹️ or 🙂
🔵 All kids got a small ball of play-do to make a fish shape then squash it to make a blobfish 🐟
